Solo - passion project
A 2 minute read
I had a small love for stopping by churches when I drove past, because it's a fascinating blend between history, architecture and society. This evolved to a big love where I planned my road trips to where the remaining stave churches are.
To fulfill my love of checking boxes and to-do-lists, and to keep track which churches I had visited, I designed an A4 poster I could take with me in my car. From there the project grew to a website with an overview over the remaining churches, and a possibility to register them
Passion project
When I shared my stave church checklists with friends, I realized there is no marketing targeting a younger generation to show how the churches fit so well in to road trips.
I took matters into my own hands and further developed the poster for a proposal for what such a website might look like. This website is not only useful to the target audience, but also to everyone else who travels around to visit stave churches (no, I'm not the only one).
